0340/1560 - O-Ring Replacement Lid

hey got stuck Oh psych repair today's tech tip is it going to be about Oh rings so there's an o-ring inside here that seals the float ball and let me show you what happened to it when I fell on the fluid okay gasket look how big that gasket is it's not gonna work with that that's from swelling up from the fuel and the carb cleaner so we're gonna have to let this dry down alright so it is the next day I let it sit stuck it in the refrigerator overnight you don't have to put in the frigerator it'll dry by itself just helps it shrink down a little bit there we go back to normal size all right so tech tip today is that these o-rings will swell with gasoline or carb cleaner so if they do swell up you got to let them dry out all the way you can is a couple methods you can boil it in some just clean water you're just trying to get the solvents out of it or you can put it in the freezer overnig
