okay so today I've got a vizio it's about a 40 42 inch set not quite sure the model number give you that in just a moment as you can see it's plugged in the logo is orange or amber as they call it hit the power button it does light up white never see any other action other than that so I just want to talk about troubleshooting this problem very quickly okay so the first thing to look for is does this set have video press the menu button on the TV itself using a high power flashlight I've got a mag LED flashlight what I like to do is put it right directly up to the screen so it's actually touching the screen and I'm going to move it around the screen I'm going to look for any sign of the menu bleeding through and I see absolutely no sign of that on this set so I believe that it does not have video I can tell already that there is no backlight being generated inside the TV so that's one o
