hmm [Music] what up y'all welcome to the garage Nate we are going to today make an extension cord for my welder that has this 50 amp plug on it that you might find on dryers or some such thing my welder I believe is rated to take up to like maybe 40 or 45 amps when it's turned up to full tilt I don't ever plan on using it that full tilt on a regular basis at least so what we got here we got us some four conductor eight gauge cable now we're not going to need four conductors see this is eight four means eight gauge four conductors type soow so service rated meaning 600 volt which it also says on the on line here as opposed to SJ which is super service junior which is 300 volt which would do just fine in this application because I'm going to running 240 through it 240 241 whatever it takes yeah you're gonna make it all 220 yeah 220 221 whatever it takes and then the oo w the first Oh is t
