so in this video then I'm going to use the frequency counter and power meter that I got quite recently I've done a couple of videos on this and I'll link them down below but I want to actually use it today to test some different carcasses that I've got off eBay now what I've got here is a year 2.4 gigahertz signal source that is exactly 600 milliwatts so what actually means is we know that we're pumping in exactly 600 milliwatts at the one end of the coax we'll connect the other end of the coax up to the meter and then we can see how much power is actually delivered at the end of the coax compared to what we actually put in there and that'll give us a good idea how well the actual coax performs and how lossy it actually is at these microwave frequencies so these are the co axes that we're going to be testing then and we'll take a closer look at these in the moment but I just wanted to t
