welcome to another max clean systems installation series video we will be installing a UHF male solder on connector or PL 259 onto LMR 400 coax this coax has a single braided shield foil covered dielectric and a solid Center conductor making it a budget-friendly low loss option the Max gain systems PLT 59 connector can easily be installed using standard stripping dimensions now let's get started with our installation [Music] we start out by separating the outer shell from the PL 259 by simply unscrewing place the outer shell on the coax grab the pl 239 main body and line up the center pin with the end of the coax place a mark or just use your thumbnail to mark where to cut the black jacket of the collects just below the solder holes of the peel 259 grab your knife or utility blade to cut around the coax where you marked it cut through the outer black jacket only pull off the jacket you
