hello in this video I will be showing you how to replace the screen on a Lenovo ThinkPad w 540 so the first step is to remove the battery and unplug your laptop as such then the next thing you're going to want to do is remove the plastic cover on on the monitor here so I just trying to get your fingers underneath this and once you remove the cover set it aside using unit again and then you're going to want to take out these four screws here one two three and four you'll need a small Phillips screwdriver you're going to want to keep these four spheres together do not want to lose them then you're going to want to pull the monitor off so you can do that by putting your fingernails under the metal mounting spots there don't poke you hard visitors the cable attached you're going to flip around and rests it on top of your laptop keyboard then you're going to want to remove the ribbon cable c
