this will be a quick repair tutorial one of my co-workers dropped her laptop and broke the screen she asked me if i could take a look the laptop is an lg gram 14z90n it has a 14 inch full hd ips display an intel 10th gen i5 cpu eight gigs of ram 256 gigabyte ssd drive and best of all it only weighs one kilogram or 2.2 pounds here's the laptop it looks new and feels very light it powers on when i open the lid but the screen stays black i don't see any obvious screen damage the power led is on the owner called lg but they wanted her to ship it to them at her expense and they wouldn't tell her how much the repair would cost or how long it would take lg makes good laptops but they need to work on their tech support i'll plug in an external monitor to the hdmi port on the side there's a good signal on the monitor so the lcd is probably damaged the owner dropped off the laptop at a local repa
