this is Sawyer with all charged up and today I'm going to show you how to change the programming on the motorola rmu 2040 first you need to enter programming mode do this by long-pressing that puts a talk button and side button one at the same time while turning on the radio until you hear an audible voice say programming mode and the channel number the LED indicator will blink green to indicate that you are in programming mode the first thing you're able to do is select which channel you want to program the default setting is channel 1 but by pressing side button 1 or side button 2 you can change the channel pressing side buttons 1 will put it to channel 2 pressing inside button - will put it back to channel 1 in order to change the frequencies of channel 1 you're going to select channel 1 here and then short press that push-to-talk button the voice tells you which value your frequency
