[Music] hi i'm dr. anita leblanc here with perform text tape today i'm going to show you a technique you can use for shoulder pain this technique uses two strips 1ri strip by measuring this from the nape of the neck to the end of the shoulder blade there I'm going to round the corners of this tape to prevent the tape from peeling off the second strip I'm gonna use is a y-strip by measuring this from the spine out to the shoulder right about there cut to the Y strip to make the two tails and of course round the edges to prevent the tape from peeling up so we'll take the first strip the I strip lay it down with no tension on the upper trap we have to make sure our patient is in proper position so he's engaged his middle traps his chin is pushed back a little bit and apply moderate tension down the spine there at the very end no tension the second strip the Y strip are in a place next to t
