hello this is david from DP computing today here I've got a Toshiba 8100 tablet it's also known as a thrive tablet overseas as you can see there the screens a bit dirty because it's my son's but today we're just going to tear it apart or open it up just to replace the back cover and also to show you how to replace the internal BIOS battery and the other internal battery one of the good things about this tablet was has a variety of different covers you can put on so there's the it's currently got a silver one on there's a blue one and this is the default black one this also variety rather different colours anyway now just to before we tap and remove the back cover what we have to do there's a locking little pin there locking the slide so we have to slide that across so we get that little red tag meaning we can open it up now what I found is the best way of doing it is at the other end of
