here we are again the Lauren Frida show from the Chicago School of fusing what are you gonna show us today Laura I want to show you how to make this little quilt how to start it anyway this is called birds and flowers I loved that little bird in the little nest you're gonna do weaving and some collage and freeform cutting it's gonna be great you're gonna have a great time learning these techniques hi this is my project called birds and flowers and there's a pattern for you on the website as well but I'll show you how I'm going to make flowers today the little bird and of course all these leaves and stems that you'll see this is how we start so these are the fabrics that I'm going to use for my project there's a batik fabric some hand dyed fabrics that I've made I love the colors that are beautiful Frieda green my favorite your favorite I love free - green - there's a sky the background
