this is Mike with image supplied here's a tip if you ever encountered this problem where the ribbon is coming out with the tape essentially what you do is once you get a brand new tape cartridge is you want to turn the ribbon spool at least once or twice counterclockwise to the left what that will do is that will breakaway the ribbon from the tape if it indeed is stuck this needs to be done before you insert the cartridge for the first time if not if it is stuck there's no way to correct this problem after it happens
