Oh Oh this is Bob for images to lers today I'm going to try and show you how to use a loop on the most important tools in our business and it is a magnifying lens obviously but if you notice how thick it is it must be more than just a magnifying lens and what it is is there's three lenses stacked in here two concave and one convex to the center that makes basically a triplet lens that's why they call these triplet loops and what that is for is to look inside of a gem like in a diamond so that when you look inside of it you don't get any distortion or or non focusing ability throughout the whole lens if you just use the magnifying lens and you look at an inclusion inside the diamond that you'd have to look just if the little inclusion and the rest of the lens would be auto focus with this corrects for that so it's just more than a magnifying lens so this will you know the correct way to
