[Music] now that you've learned about the sagrada familia we're ready to make our own stained glass inspired art you're going to need the paper that was in your kit with the ark your rubric is just a helpful reference to see some colors your set of oil pastels from your kit little cup this is actually baby oil and a q-tip some scissors a sharpie and then some circular shapes and i just grabbed some stuff i had around the classroom a lid bowls things like that could work our first step is to use the scissors to cut the top off of this stained glass window the next step is to create a balanced design and if you look at the image here from the sagrada familia you can see that there are a number of straight horizontal verticals as well as some curved lines arcs circular type shapes so we're going to use a combination of those shapes i forgot to mention you probably will use a ruler as well
