today we are going to be turning the  3M Peltor Comtac 5 hearing defender   into a communications headset   the first step is to gather all of your materials.  First, you'll need your hearing defender you will need a boom mic and you will need an adapter cable. Now today  we are using the 3m adapter cable for Comtac   for the left side and the 3M Peltor boom mic.
