guys just going to do a quick video to compare the original charger with this one that i purchased as a backup for when i travel as you can see i have the surface it's plugged in right now with the original charger you can see that it lights up to indicate that it's charging you unplug it and there you go i'm just going to compare it to the one that i just purchased which is plugged in in the other room all right right over here here it is plugged in looks exactly the same it had a nice little protective covering on it which i appreciated also comes with this velcro tie back for the excess cord and this is what it looks like same exact thing and when you plug it in it lights up so it works exactly the same way and it's a nice cheap alternative to the original
