5 X Ilford XP-2 Super 400 135-36 Black & White Film

[Music] xp2 super is ilford's c41 process black and white film and it is a really easy film to shoot and work with at iso 400 with its sharp look and wide tonal range it's probably the most easy to use and versatile black and white stock that i've ever tried granted my black and white shooting experience is so far limited to tmax 3200 and xp2 but nonetheless well i found it to be very forgiving in exposure and that couldn't be shown any better than by the very first role which i shot with it at night time in tokyo last year when i took some pictures of a friend [Music] considering that these images are from my point and shoot this role was brilliant as you can clearly see the mood and the tone of the black and white is exactly how i like a black and white image deep contrasty blacks with soft whites though in some of the images the highlights are blown out just the slightest bit too far
