welcome to the first look of d-link's dsl 520b adsl 2 plus modem so this unit can handle up to 24 megabits down speed and 3.5 megabits up speed so once you open the box you see a power adapter ethernet cable and a dsl cable as well as the setup disk quick installation guide and the warranty agreement so those aside we have the unit itself all right first in open up you should see the message of saying stop insert installation disk first and go through the steps of that and as well under it you see some ventilation hose and then the mac number and the serial number firmware and on the back there is the dsl port lan port the reset button a power button as well as dc in so in the front more ventilation hose on the side as well and in front you find power led the lan led dsl led and internet led and this is adsl 2 plus to set it up it was not hard at all basically all we need was a ppp user
