[Music] normal what does that word mean from my view it's meaningless we live in a world where people are accepted for their ethnical backgrounds sexual orientations physical limitations and so on but then there's me someone part of a spectrum of those who think differently and yet in some ways the same my name is Brendon and this is a little story on how I grew up on the autism spectrum as of 2018 one in 66 children in Canada are diagnosed with autism as for me I was diagnosed when I was 3 years old in 2002 as I grew up there were many things that I struggled with learning things in elementary school focusing on things outside of my interests social behavior sensitivity and a lot of choices [Music] these streets are common for people with autism and I know because my friends who are also on the spectrum have gone through it and I would say self-doubt in myself like I would always like
