what kind of caps do you prefer this comes from Kenneth and Maryland and Kenneth writes Paul I'm building a j TM 45 point to point to that okay sorry I have no clue what that is and and want to know what capacitor construction type you prefer in the audio circuit Mallory type polyester metallized polypropylene or a mix for coupling well as we know in a vacuum tube circuit you're going to need coupling caps really it's really tough to do any kind of direct coupling with vacuum tube circuits possible but really tough so let's just assume that you're going to do that for coupling capacitors my all-time favorite is film and foil well cap makes them who else make a number of companies Jansen my favorite RL caps but there are boot boy there are some really beautiful capacitors out there I mean Jupiter Darrin Meyer our engineer just came in he's been working on this really cool vacuum tube inp
