Set up the HP Pen with your HP notebook, and then customize pen settings and button actions. Determine the type of HP Pen you have using the product number on the pen box. HP Pens use the same standard pen technology and work with supported notebooks. If tilt functionality is desired, the HP Tilt Pen is available as an optional accessory. Remove the pen from the package. Twist the pen to open it, and then install the battery in the battery slot. Reinstall the top of the pen. On your notebook, tap the pen tip to the laptop screen to turn the pen on. There are two buttons on the pen. By default, the button closest to the pen tip is set to Erase. The button farther from the pen tip is set to Select an item or Right-click. Customize the pen buttons in the HP Pen Control App. For some laptops, the HP Pen Control App comes preinstalled. Select Start, type HP Pen Control, and then select it fr
