all right so this laptop is having some problem charging so we're gonna be checking if replacing the charge port will work this is a lenovo w540 okay it turns on and everything but it just doesn't charge the battery so first what we're gonna do is remove the battery you just pull these two tabs out to the side it looks like they lock in place and then you can pull the battery out okay just like that we'll set it aside we're going to undo the screws and then put them in order on the table so they don't get mixed up it's always a good idea to try and put the screws that you removed back where you got them from okay all right so remove this screw here there's a lot of screws to keep track of so again i just lay them out in the pattern that i remove them to make it easier there are two hidden screws underneath these pieces here so we are going to remove those as well you're very likely goin
