Dbc 3-1/8 inch 120Sc Flex Hone

[Music] all right guys in this video we're going to be honing the cylinders in our 5.3 engine for the chevelle ls turbo project um it's just a matter of running a ball hone in and out of the cylinders to prep or resurface or recondition the cylinder wall so when we slap in the pistons with new rings everything seats all nice and the engine will run just fine okay so time to hold in the cylinders and what you're going to need is obviously a hone so this is a ball hone this i bought 20 years ago when i rebuilt a small block chevy it's for a four inch bore so it's a four inch hone these bores are 3.78 so it's it's close enough this will be a little bit of a tighter fit but it'll work just fine as far as the grit i'm not sure if it's a 320 grit or a 240 i believe they sell but in any case it works great i remember 20 years ago when i rebuilt the small black i used this and it cleaned up jus
