hi everyone this video is going to be a tutorial on how to open laptop's AC power adapter without damaging the plastic case and internal components I also show you how to replace bad capacitors and DC cable all modern AC adapters are not serviceable like it used to be a long time ago now they're very well glued with some super adhesive which makes it very difficult to take them apart before we begin let's talk about the two most common AC adapter problems speaking from my own experience it's a broken cable at either the wall or device side due to excessive flexing of the cable and the second problem is failed electrolytic capacitors which you can easily recognize by swelling on its top all these problems you can resolve solve for a few dollars so it makes sense in any case new original dotter cost over 50 bucks and I don't really recommend using any 10 bucks power bricks from China okay
