hi my name is Julie and I'm gonna show you today how to apply decals these decals are for firing in a glass kiln and I have two types of decals here this is a 22 karat gold decal which will fire onto your glass and give you a nice shiny gold color these here are black and nice to use on things like white or contrasting colors so the first thing you want to do is make sure your glass is nice and clean so that the decal will adhere and it will look nice after its fired you simply cut the decal with scissors you want to cut up around close to the decal and now to get away as much as the paper as possible then it just goes into warm water sits in there maybe about 30 seconds and I'll be ready to put onto your glass we'll do a gold one as well the gold ones have a little piece of protective paper over them and you'll want to make sure that you remove that okay so a black one should be just a
