hi today from keyless entry remote I'm going to show you how to replace a key fob battery the key fob I'm showing you today is compatible with a 1991 through 1992 chevrolet caprice the part number on the back of this two button key fob is 1572 5422 to open this key fob all you'll need is a screwdriver simply insert the screw driver in the notch at the bottom of the key fob and twist once you have the key fob open you'll see there are two batteries for this key fob located here you may want to use a smaller screwdriver to help pop these old batteries out the batteries used in this key fob are a cr2016 once you have the old batteries out to replace them all you need to do is slide the new batteries back into place when the new batteries are back into place you can close the key fob snap it back together and you're done if you need to order a replacement battery or an actual key fob remote
