you hello and welcome to the o WC instructional series of videos in this installment we're going to replace the battery in a mid 2012 15-inch MacBook Pro when replacing the battery in this machine it's important that you calibrate the power management system in order to get the full use of your battery we include these instructions as well so be sure to watch all the way to the end of the video we've already gathered our materials shut down and unplug the MacBook Pro and are working on a soft static free surface we are now ready to begin the first step is to close the MacBook Pro and flip it over on the bottom are 10 Phillips screws which will need to be removed these three screws are longer than the others so we can remove those first then remove the remaining seven screws which are all the same size you can now remove the bottom cover and set it aside detach the battery connector by l
