hello today i am reviewing in the extreme heat of the uk e.t the book of the green planet by william kotzwinkel this book claims to be based on a story by stephen spielberg however the story in question is this one and not an original one created for this book it is legalese technically this is based on et's characters and situations so this is not technically a lie it is also important to point out that there was a sequel to et that was in development in the 1980s before spielberg pulled the plug and this story bears no relation to that one either scott sprinkle himself is better known for his children's books but has also written a handful of science fiction or fantasy novels a screenplay of film novelizations of superman 3 and the et movie and the only other book that i've read by him which was the novelization for a nightmare on elm street for the dream master kart sprinkle also cre
