what's up guys mike from rockville and today we are looking at the wiring configuration for two single voice coil 4 ohm subwoofers now the most common wiring configuration is parallel wiring so let's look at that first but first let's check the resting impedance at each terminal so we got our multimeter see this subwoofer is 3.8 which is what we would consider a 4 ohm load check this one 3.9 3.8 as well which is what we consider an impedance of 4 ohms now parallel wiring is very straightforward basically what you are doing is going from the positive terminal of one sub to the positive terminal of the next sub and then directly into the positive terminal of your amplifier or enclosure and it's the same thing with the negative terminals so you're going from the negative terminal of one sub to the negative terminal of the next and then directly into your enclosure which will then go into y
