Cornell Dubilier ULP Ultra-Low Profile Aluminum Electrolytic Capacitors can replace entire arrays of capacitors, while using up to 70% less board space. ULP capacitors are just two or three millimeters thick, but utilize high-gain foils and a unique packaging and seal system for energy density up to 0.4 Joules per cubic centimeter. With values from 500 and 24,000 microfarads, and four to 63 working volts D/C, ULP capacitors can replace up to 160 solid tantalum chip caps. ULP capacitors connect with FPC, which means you can use them on or off-board for more design flexibility.
