use the flush mount kit that comes included with the surge protector. This is the electric
panel, it's a pretty standard panel, 200 amp service and so we'll go into how to
do the wiring and the installation of the actual surge protector unit. All right so
I took the cover off my panel and you can see how it is. Here i got power
coming in from the power company there and then I have all my circuit breakers
basically the plan will be put in a double pole 30
amp circuit breaker, which is what is required by the manufacturer and you try to put
it in as close as possible to the main input here. So i'm going to try
to move this circuit breaker down to the bottom and then I will mount the
box of the surge protector here to the left and then wire it through one of the side knockouts
and then up and over. So that'll be the plan
