this is a Panasonic shockwave portable CD player and it's my favorite CD player portable CD player that I've ever owned it is a model s l SW 404 I'd like to talk about why I love it the way I do first of all notice the factory-fresh appearance of this unit even though this unit is over 20 years old it looks and functions as new the sticker on the back shows that it was made in 1996 in Japan notice the sticker is not peeling or faded the rubber feet are both present and speaking of rubber notice that the ports along the sides of the unit have a rubber stopper to protect the ports there are no scratches dance Nick's or scuffs either either on the front or back of this unit this is astonishing given the age of the unit the hinge is robust with a shaft extending across two thirds of the width of the lid on either side of the hinge or clamps which is sure that the lid will never pop open eve
