hello my name is Ron went through the wire USA and in this video I'm going to show you how to use one of our DisplayPort to DVI 1x2 splitters this unit allows you to take one input DisplayPort input and split it to two DVI signals we have a clone mode which lets you see the same signal at once and we have an extend mode which basically takes two monitors and they act as one for a resolution of up to 30 40 by 1080 so the first thing I'll do is I'll connect the display port cable coming from the PC to the input on the splitter connect the power I'll connect the first EBI cable to this display we should see it come up here a minute we'll connect the second display now here we are working in clone mode right now the same signal on both monitors but if we go here to display settings now I'm going to drive the resolution from 1920 by 1080 to 38 40 by 1080 that's basically the width of both mo
