hey everybody its line siphon and we're taking a look today at a multi-port USB type-c adapter from Amazon this is their Amazon basics version it cost about 40 bucks and what you get on here is power in up to 60 watts you got HDMI out it will do 1080p at 60 Hertz or 4k at 30 Hertz and you've got a regular USB 3 connector here it is 3.1 Gen 1 which is the slower 5 gigabit per second standard but still fast enough for some hard drives and whatnot we'll be testing that out in just a second when I move over to the lab and this compares with the Apple version of this adapter that if you have a macbook you might have purchased for a lot of money right now the Apple one goes for about 65 to 70 dollars with the exact same specifications the Amazon one here sells for a lot less it is $39 and you get the same functionality I did find that the build quality on the Apple one feels a little better i
