Description
Are you a serious amateur astronomer looking for the best and brightest wide-field images of the night sky with binoculars? the Orion 20x80 ED giantview binocular will fit that bill! these binoculars combine a large 80mm aperture with extra-low dispersion (ED) glass lenses for bright, exceptionally clear, true-color views of the night sky. Not to mention these binoculars work equally well for long distance daytime viewing. All of this in a waterproof body, with back-4 prisms, robust mechanical construction, and a solid Pier tripod mounting system. And all these features for a very reasonable price. You'll understand the combination of large aperture and ED lenses the first time you scan the Milky way - pinpoint stars, with exceptional contrast against a dark background. Fully multi-coated surfaces provide the brightest possible images, and with 18mm of eye relief, even eyeglass wearers can view the entire field of view. And these binoculars boast a 3.2-Deg field of view for scanning the skies, or watching distant wildlife. The sturdy aluminum alloy body with a second hinge between the objective lenses provides a solid, well collimated mechanical system. Glare-threaded and blackened interiors provide even more contrast with less light scatter. The built-in tripod mounting bar attaches securely to a standard photographic tripod, and each binocular comes with lens caps, neck strap and a soft carry bag.

Product review & video
hello I'm Ken with Orion telescopes and binoculars and this rather large binocular is the Orion giant view sixteen by eighty edy binocular so let me go through some of the features and show you what this thing can do it's a large aperture eighty millimeter sixteen power up top that's great for astronomy but also for long distance terrestrial viewing so if he's got the room of the view putting this on a tripod would be excellent let me quickly go over some of the features that you have with this binocular first off that eighty millimeter objective is an IDI system so it's got extra low dispersion glass which means that you get very good color correction and a very crisp image with a normal pair binoculars that doesn't have IDI glass especially at higher powers like the sixteen the edges of objects might have a little bit of false color some blue or some purple that's some of the light at
