buying a ps3 ii had since it was cheap cost me no harddrive bracket seeing as I had the harddrive buying this alternative allowed me to put it in and boot up the ps3 with no issue there wasn't really a lot to the install it's just insert your hard drive put in the screws and place it and then booted up and enjoy great mounting kit that comes with all the mounting screws needed to install the HDD and the ps3 you'll especially need this to install the HDD in the 12 gigabyte model of the ps3 as that one doesn't have a mounting kit in it read a few reviews this one seemed to be the highest rated to add a hard drive to a ps3 super slim I ended up getting a used ps3 SS a few weeks ago and was disappointed to see it only had a 12 gigabyte HDD I had a spare solid-state HD sitting around put it in this caddy and slapped it into the ps3 increased capacity in 15 minutes I've built a few computer s
