we're replacing a screen on a dell inspiron 1470 laptop computer first remove the battery from the computer and remove the bezel around the screen you just have to get your fingers underneath the edge of the bezel and angle it back and it snaps out and remove the four black screws from the four corners of the screen once the screws are out play the screen down remove the tape that's holding the connector on and pull the connector off you just pull it straight back away from the screen and it will come out cut my new screen from WWF top screen com replace the connector by putting it putting it back in and then pulling the bail straight up towards the top of the screen and taping it down to the back of the screen with the tape that's still on the connector I use the tape that was holding the protective plastic onto the screen to hold it onto the lid while I put the screws in place the fou
