oh the stain is fully dried and I have filled all the holes in so it looks like a smooth finish I'm going to be using minwax wipe-on poly urethane for the first two coats I found that this helps seal the wood grain and makes a smoother finish in the end I'm going to be using a cotton rag to apply the polyurethane wipe off you all right so let me explain a little bit what I've got going on here I've just recently sanded down the whole top with 320 grit and a piece of wood making sure that it's nice and flat and smooth and what I did was I figured out where I needed to place the decal I measured from the hold down to the bottom which ended up being 36 inches then I subtracted the measurement of the decal that I have which is 10 and a half inches that gave me 25 and a half inches and I divided that in two so what I ended up doing was measuring up 12 and 3/4 of an inch on each side which yo
