opteka exotica here with nikon monarch 5 in 8 by 42 and we are right at the edge of a massive cliff yeah yeah you don't want to fall down that so we're watching some seals out here that's the point monarch 5 it's a nice entry-level binocular into good glass and you see it in the quality of the construction it is virtually identical to the it's light weight which I love because I want to put a pair of binoculars in my pocket when I go hiking these eight power monarch five has better magnification than the monarch 7th and 8th power has a nice focus wheel it has a great tension to it it has some really nice eye cups for the price of course it's a barrel mounted diopter you have scratch resistant coatings on the lenses and by the way the internal lens coatings and prisms are quite nice I came to the monarch 7 I've gotta do specs and details on this particular monarch 5 before in my other vi
