Dantona SBP-9044 Radio Battery (SBP-9044)

this is a General Electric convertible M tube radio and I believe what convertible means is there was a clock assembly power supply that plugged into the side and then this would slide out and it would tap its power from the clock power supply assembly it also has a battery option which is a to model 682 and three volt a battery and a 67 and a half full B battery and it has four tubes in it 1r v 3v for 1u for one u5 it only weighs two pounds and I thought it might be cool to take along on some of my hiking trips to have a little tube radio if it's super sensitive so what I've come up with for the the B battery is I'm going to use nine volts and there's plenty of these crappy Duras cells floating around that just explode on their own so what I do is I pull them apart I cut the top open and I take the little connector part out and I'm gonna put these in series I'm gonna have seven of thes
