Description
Altronix 8 fused outputs power supply/access power controller converts a 115V AC 60Hz input into 8 independently controlled 24V DC fail-safe and/or fail-secure outputs with a total of 10 amp continuous supply current. Outputs are activated by an open collector sink or normally open (NO) dry trigger input from an access control system, card reader, keypad, push button, PIR, etc. This unit will route power to a variety of access control hardware devices including mag locks, electric strikes, magnetic door holders, etc. The outputs will operate in both fail-safe and/or fail-secure modes. This unit is designed to be powered by one common power source (factory installed) which will provide power for both the board operation and locking devices, or 2 totally independent power sources, 1 providing power for board operation and the other for lock/accessory power. The FACP interface enables emergency egress, alarm monitoring, or may be used to trigger other auxiliary devices. Input: Input 115V AC 60Hz rated at 4.4 amp. Power supply input options: 1) common power input for ACM8 and lock power (factory installed). 2 isolated power inputs - 1 to power the ACM8 and 1 for lock accessory power, (external power supply is required). 8 access control system trigger inputs. Output: 24V DC at 10 amp supply current, 8 independently controlled outputs. Normally open (NO) or normally closed (NC) dry contact input. Polarity reversal input from FACP signaling circuit. Alarm output relay indicates that FACP input is triggered (form "C" contact rated at 1 amp 28VDC not evaluated by UL). Operating temperature: 0 to 49 degree C ambient. ACM8 board main fuse is rated at 10 amp. BTU/Hr. 122.84BTU/Hr. Lifetime warranty. Measures 12-1/4-inches width by 15-1/2-inches height by 4-1/2-inches depth. 1.125-inches and 1.375-inches combination knockouts. UL listed, CSFM - California State Fire Marshal Approved, MEA - NYC Department of Buildings Approved.

Product review & video
hi in this video I'm going to demonstrate how to install a backup power supply usually for an alarm system can be used for mag locks on doors also cameras various applications but nevertheless I'm gonna be using it for sensors on an alarm system and I'm gonna go through this step-by-step and before I do let me just show you what it is that I'm referring to there are many different types of backup power supplies this happens to be one that can handle a an 18 m power battery and what does that mean well let me open it up and show you what I'm talking about our battery capacity here is the unit and if I open the door which is lockable here are the keys you have the option of installing different battery sizes now the most common battery size is the 7 Empire 12 volt and yes I know it says 8 M power this is called a gel battery slightly longer lifespan good quality battery but this is the si
