Royal 590 Manual Typewriter Ribbon - New Black Ribbon

dwayne here phoenixtypewriter.com we're gonna put a ribbon on this royal quiet deluxe here so in a couple of things you look out for so let's pop this lid open like magic go let go hey there it goes fix that okay so we got our black and red ribbon black goes on top like that and also make sure this eyelet is wound inside the spool the small the short spool will have a eyelet you can see make sure that's wound in a little bit and then if you're unsure about your typewriter and which way the ribbon goes you can look at the typewriter and see the spindle here and see which way it's turning so you know which way the ribbon is going to be turning when you stick it in there so that's pretty straightforward turn right there this machine has ribbon reverse right here this lever so if i flip that it's going to drive on this side it should drive of course like this clockwise [Music] sure enough s
