hi everybody this is an HP laptop and this model is a pavilion g7 and one of the things that has a problem with is a cracked cover that's causing problems with the monitor but also this thing is really dirty so you can sort of see turn this around you can kind of see inside there where the processor fan is this thing is just loaded up with dust and debris so the first thing I'm going to do is give this thing a good cleaning so we can get that dust and debris out of it and that will help a lot with the system performance so let's get started so in order to access that fan I'm going to have to pull all these screws out around the cover take the battery out also and like it's typical with some of these laptops there's actually some screws that are hidden underneath the battery [Applause] and I'm also going to remove the screws that hold on the cover for the RAM and the hard drive oh boy al
