[Music] ah welcome to the studio I'm Linda chemcial today I wanted to show you how I've been making these little panels using a range of Madeira threads and my embellishing machine now I'm working on to a felt base for this and you could just buy a piece of commercial felt but I prefer to kind of customize and create my own so let me show you how I do that now I start by working onto a base of this is a really inexpensive synthetic felt and the color doesn't matter too much because I'm actually going to cover the whole thing but what is important is to bear in mind how you're going to frame it because that aperture there is the size of work that we need to create so you know if you're buying a frame first of all take the cardboard mount out and then with a soft pencil I've used a chalky pencil here draw up within the aperture just to give you a working kind of size to work too now the f
