Vintage Radio Dial Cord

maybe in the safety every Navy man the right guy hello and welcome to my workshop my name is John I live near Cincinnati I am a radio hobbyist what you're looking at today is a 1963 Arvin clock radio tabletop model it's a nice little radio I've been working on it today we're going to be fixing the dial cord that goes around the tuning wheel and a couple of other knobs and pins and pulleys and so this is my first one at first I'll cord replacement so you can kind of Judge up from my difficulty how hard it will be for you to do it what we have here is a copy of the Sam Soto fact diagram of the placement for the dial cord you can see in the upper right hand corner the large wheel it's connected to the tuner both ends of the dial cord are going to be connected to a spring inside that wheel and they're going to wrap around the wheel and opposite directions and they will in turn one side will
