my name is Eugene pan root kovitch I'm the owner of screen surgeons a laptop computer screen replacement business in Tucson Arizona and today we'll be replacing a cracked or laptop screen on a Dell Inspiron 1545 laptop computer now this is one of the easier laptops to work with because all the screws are accessible and you just have to take the plastic frame off and replace the screen so the tools that we need today are electronics screwdriver with changeable bits we need a pH one bit and a pH zero bit we also need a exacto knife blade or a razor blade will do and some metal tweezers so to get started there's six screws on the plastic frame around the screen that we have to remove I have those smart with dots right here on top of those screen screws there are some rubber pads that we have to take off I left one there rubber pads on to show you how I take it off so we get a exacto blade
