hey guys just wanted to make this quick video clip here I've got a co-worker's laptop here it's showing some vertical lines in the screen it flashes occasionally basically makes this computer unusable it's an Asus x5 3's laptop so basically what I've done I pulled out two little screws in either corner there underneath these little rubber caps and then I gently pry the outer bezel off the screen set it aside takes a little bit I use this little pry tool that I've gotten from other electronic repair parts basically what's happening with this one I can push the back here and it's obviously some sort of loose connector once you've removed the front bezel four screws actually six two on the bottom corners one on each top corner and the back should come off and here you see the cable this is what I push to get the screen to go back to normal so what I'm going to do is I'm going to undo this
