this is the my zone headphones and the transmitter right here take double-a batteries and triple-a batteries transmitter part needs to be hooked to the back of your cable box not to the back of your TV in the audio out so um as you can see you can't hear anything because I have the TV on mute and I can hear it here I'm going to put it to the back of the camera so you can see so it's pretty awesome it works exactly like you say you just you turn the power off when you plug it into the audio and then you turn that on and then you turn this to on and you push scan and it will scan to your TV channel the other cool thing is when this is off and you turn this on it's an FM radio you can hit scan and you can find a radio station it will play right into your ear it's great so it's fun to take on walks and stuff um I definitely recommend it does exactly what it says it's pretty awesome and the
