this is a Dell 23 inch flat screen monitor model II 2 3 1 0 HC I acquired several of these recently from the local recycle place they had been discarded took them home one of them work the others did not they it but they're all failing in a similar way and I decided to go ahead and troubleshoot to see if I could fix any of them here is one of the things that the bad monitors were doing when you plug it in the power light would come on but then it would be unresponsive it would not none of the buttons would do anything and this to me suggests that we're dealing with a logic problem it's acting like the thing has sort of lost its mind which means it's probably the problems probably on the logic board if you have a power supply problem typically either it won't turn on at all or the power will cycle on and off or it goes on for a few seconds and you and then the power cuts out things like
