so what do you find when you go up further okay keep your radio on all right get a big one huh yeah get one preferably a big one this one won't be nice [Music] you I'm up here on my vantage point on Flint Creek just glassing all these big canyons and hillsides here this is a great spot you can see the trail right there that we came up and it continues on way up into the high country and that's where Roger when he's up there somewhere and glassing for about an hour I'm using my favorite binoculars for this task he's in my room Steiner 8 by 30 military marine binoculars these were given to me as a going-away gift about 20 years ago I quit as chief of a small Department police department in Washington to move to Brookings Oregon to take the police chief's job there these are so lightweight and compact you have a great field of view and adequate power for even up here the thing I like about
